Hi all, I just added £7.60 to my IB account after receiving email from Mecca saying I had a balance on my account. I didn't even know I had won anything in there but there were 2 x £3 bonuses of some sort and when I clicked to withdraw, it let me take out £7.60 and left the £3 bonus, which I can now play away... not much, but £7.60 is over 4.5% of my previous balance for this challenge, so I'm happy :D

Edited in - has anyone else noticed the banner advertising free bingo on Mecca on Fridays? I may give this a try if I can remember to log in.

It's Friday and I've managed to claim free tickets in Mecca. If you haven't joined, Topcashback tracked and I got £30 for signing up to this plus I've already got the £7.60 from previous post showing in the bank today. :T

Edited in: Free bingo finished with no wins tonight, but it's back next week between 8pm and 9pm

Hi Lilac - that's kind of what I thought of the matched betting. I can almost get my head around it and then I lose it again! I think it's only suitable for so long as there's a limit to the sites you can join for cashback. For now, it's beyond me. :D

I can recommend the book called Winning in Betfair for Dummies. After reading that (thank you who sent it to me) the quide in the MB forum started to make more sense and now that I have been doing it for couple of months it couldn't be simpler. I think that it is the best way of earning "free" money when it comes to the ratio of spent time vs earnings. Plus that I get a serious buzz out of it :o but I am an accountant who loves spreadsheets...

Just been counting up and I'm only £10.90 short of making enough on my Interest Beater to pay an entire year of my Friendly society tax free bond. :) Not having much luck with free bingo this week, though, and it wouold certainly help!

Happy.gif £50 to add to my challenge total today, courtesy of Gala Bingo and some tax free winnings from today's free tickets! My faikth has been restored in the site. Oh, I also got a free £5 credited to my Kingjackpot account for my birthday last week! Wonder if I can win anything playing that through? :D

Edited in - A further £10 added to my total after winning another £20 in the free bingo last night. I have left £10 over there to play through by way of showing my appreciation for those free tickets. :D

Anyone got any good ideas for capitalising on tomorrow's St Ledger?
Got to be free bets going somewhere without the risk of losing it all?

I had a quick look in the betting board but couldn't see anything. Keep an eye of that board perhaps you could start your own thread there and someone I am sure will know.

Back with an update :D Almost six months into the 2008/9 tax year and I have just passed my tax free interest beater savings target! :j I'm now sitting at 7.02% and was originally aiming for 6.5% :T

Happy.gif Main thing is, I've just passed my target! I just checked on www.nsandi.co.uk and I've won another £50 on premium bonds - TAX FREE WINNINGS - added already as it's 'money in the bank' guaranteed.
