MSE and the members here have made and saved me £100's.
No need to thank me (unless you want to share the winning lottery numbers :rotfl: ), we're all here for the same thing - to earn a bit extra, save and, hopefully, prosper. Congratulations on the brilliant wins! I've only won tiny games at £3 but am still playing through my balance, so time yet for a jackpot.I reserve the right not to spend.

I'm afraid I am going to have to give up on this challenge - started re-training so i have hardly any spare time on my hands, with 2 little ones to care for too!
I will still read the thread with interest tho' !
Good luck to everyone and keep it up, you're doing really well!
I still click etc when I have time, 2 of the last offers I found were on rpoints - 1000 points (£10) if you open a Tesco Internet saver and deposit £1. Also 30 (instant) points if yo u click a couple of Football pools Euro 2008 links (no spend necessary). Slowly but surely I will pay of these debts lolThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi,
Those who haven't got the Tesco savings account yet getpoundsback is giving £20 cashback for opening it.

Thanks for that, Marru!
I'm just updating about BlackpoolBingo as the £30 withdrawal has been declined. I've played through a few more games as I may not have accrued enough qualifying 'points' and have now re-submitted the payment claim, so fingers crossed this time. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the cashback to track. Going to check that now and will keep you updated.
TMSK have you checked your 'payments pending' to see if yours has been accepted or declined?
RachelJA - sorry to see you leaving us but feel free to return anytme. Good luck with whatever you choose to do in futureI reserve the right not to spend.

I just checked and they have been approved!
When you go to the Cashier click on the "Transaction history" tab and then on that page press "view history".Just worth checking.
And if not, then click on "online support" (top right hand corner) and ask them why it has been declined.
As to Freefivers,it does not appear to have tracked at all yet.Slightly slow...compared to other CB sites.0 -
TMSK - Free Fivers has recorded my click through but there's no sign of it having tracked or payment pending yet. also, the withdrawal has been declined again. Will query this tomorrow, as computer struggling to contend with AOL on MSE, Gala Free Bingo and Blackpool Bingo all at once. Will keep you posted. LOL
Update: Blackpool Bingo doesn't appear to allow you to withdraw winnings on bonus money until you have played through about 7 times the original amount! Still checking out the small print and hoping that Free £5'ers tracks properly and pays out! Good luck TMSK, hope you are having more luck than me. More annoying than anything is that I cannot find where to check and find out how much I have played through! Bit of a pain, in my opinion!I reserve the right not to spend.

Seeing as how I'm a rather unimagninative and lazy so-and-so [STRIKE]most[/STRIKE] some days, so I couldn't see how I could possibly manage to join this challenge. It has just struck me that if I buy all my winter fuel now, I'll probably be saving large amounts of money - does this count?! That and bulk buying my stockpile challenge would probably bring me up to the ISA level of savings .... you wouldn't believe the speed at which logs are rising
So, can I join in if I use this idea, Nyk?
DGIf you see me on here - shout at me to get off and go and get something useful done!!0 -
Hi DdraigGoch
You certainly can join in, as the object is to have made savings enough to compensate for having spent your £4000 (or whatever) over the year rather than have it gathering interest in the bank. Corresponding amounts are in post one. The only reason I'm keeping mine interest free is so I can see what littel extra I have at the end of the tax year that I don't need to declare.
Interest Beater Challenge year runs from April 2008 to April 2009, so it's a real tax year challenge running on the timescale for interest gained by an ISA. Let me know your target and I'll get your name added to post 1I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
