Does anyone have experience of using the Thomas Cook Cash Passport abroad at ATMs for cash withdrawal? (released Nov 2007)
Card issue is free
2% loading for GBP
Cash machine fee per withdrawal: £1.50
It sounds good if you are withdrawing $US or Euros, however how does it compare for say long distance travelling in South America, where there are numerous different local currencies that I need to withdraw.
I know Nationwide and the Post Office are the best, however I leave in 2 days time and the Thomas cook card is available in 10 mins. It sounds a lot better than my normal bank debit card at Lloyds TSB.
thanks
Steve
