Credit reports

I posted this originally in the Credit Rating forum but am not getting any answers.
I wanted to get copies of my credit report from the 3 agencies, I paid for the triple report from checkmyfile. I have 2 CCJs both satisfied and several defaults some satisfied some still paying. The Callcredit and Equifax reports came back showing all correct details, however the Experian one says I have an excellent credit score of 730 (when acutally is is only about 195) no CCJS and no Defaults - what is going on? I have sent an E-mail to checkmyfile and am awaiting my reponse. Has anyone else had this problem with them. So I have now gone direct to Experian and because they won't accept Solo or Electron I cannot register for their service so I am now awaing a paper report which I paid £2 for.
Has anybody successfully requested that they have their defaulted accounts that have been settled removed from their credit report prior to the six years lapsing. If yes how did you do it?

Here's a reply I gave to someone else who wasted their money on a checkmyfile credit report.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=809735&highlight=checkmyfile (see post #5)
In short, there's a massive amount of information that Experian DO NOT pass to checkmyfile.
Similarly, 'annualcreditreport' only get information from CallCredit.
The best way to get your credit reports is with a 30-day free trial directly from the CRA's.
The second best way is to order your £2 statutory reports directly from the CRA's.
There is no third best way!0 -
Thanks for that - I will be cancelling my subscription with them at the end of the 3 months. I have contacted them regarding my CCJ's not showing up on Experian and they are "investigating" as they cannot understand why either. Apparently that is the one thing Experian do pass to them and that Court Information. Anyway I am now awaiting my £2 statutory report from Experian.I am also kicking myself for wasting £14.95 that I could have used to pay a bill or buy some food! :mad:0
