Uninsured loss recovery claim?

Can anyone tell me if a Uninsured loss recovery claim is made against me, Should the claimants solicitors be contacting me directly, or me & the insurance co?

This happened whilst driving for my old job... & I have just recieved this leter from my ex -landlord...

    Hi,

    If the claimants solicitors are going to issue County Court proceedings, the papers will more than likely be sent to you, as the driver. Your insurers could always instruct their own solicitors to accept service of proceedings, but they may not be aware that the TPS are really going to do it.

    Also, if they don't know who your company insurers, they will write to you.

    All you need to do is pass this letter on to the insurers of the vehicle at the time, and do not respond to it.
