Zero feedback ebayer currently bidding on 60+ items..?

Mine is one of them. Account since november, bidding activity since 5th of April. Checked yesterday, he was bidding on 40 items, now over 60, all clothing in one size. Does it seem weird or is it just me? Just don't want to end up with a NPB.

Contact ebayer by email and ask what their game is, probably a hijacked account.

You can put a stop to any bidder bidding on more than ten of your items at once on 'buyer requirements' also stops anyone with more than 2 NPBs in the last month, buyers in countries to which you don't deliver, etc.

It may be that this buyer is genuine, I've had similar in the past. Send them a polite message and see what they reply, if they don't answer then cancel the bids.

If you've fallen out with someone recently or left negatives, neutrals then it may be them with another user id, but generally they'd just bid on everything and not cherry pick sizes.

Thanks guys, I know I can cancel her bid but if she is genuine that wouldn't be very fair would it. And I don't have any evidence that she is a scammer. If I contact her any ideas what could I ask? "Aren't you a scammer by the way?" lol.
I just can't understand why would somebody want to bid on 60 pieces of clothing at the same time..

    Hi,

    I would be honest....just subtle

I was selling a tv last week and the person who was bidding on it had an account since 04 but had never purchased anything, but was currently bidding on 12 items at once (from different sellers). I was concerned as I really wanted rid of the tv and did not want a time waster so I just emailed him aong the lines of

Hi, I notice that you are the current higest bidder on my item XXXX . I have noticed that you currently have no feedback - is this because you are new to ebay? (even though I already knew he wasn't). I hope you don't mind me asking, but i'm sure you are aware that sellers need to be careful when selling to people with no feedback. (or something similar)

He took the email in a positive manner and replied to me straight away - which i would not have expected from a scammer. He turned out to be a genuine buyer

    Good Luck

    Try....

    Hi
I understand you are bidding on a number of my items, thank-you. Can you confirm if you are successful with your bids how you would be paying and when you needed the goods for.
    Many Thanks, Regards

It's probably better doing it that way than scaring someone with a more direct question.

if they are only bidding on one of your items i wouldnt worry. if they are only bidding on clothing and its all the same size they dont sound like a scammer - unless its really expensive designer clothing.

Might be that they have lost all their clothing for some reason - house fire maybe, or stuck somewhere at Terminal 5 ???:confused:

I had one buyer who was buying a whole load of clothes at once because of losing most of their own in a house fire, so it can happen.
