In order to enter the Bored Cat Competition, participants must enter a valid email address and by doing so are agreeing to receive regular email communications from Teletext Holidays. Should entrants no longer wish to receive emails from Teletext Holidays, they may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

1. Teletext Limited does not sell or share your data with any other company.
2. There are five separate prize draws for each of the five prizes. These are represented by five different prize zones on the progress bar below the cat screen. A player is eligible to enter a particular prize draw by stopping the progress bar on the relevant prize zone before the Cat blinks or looks away.
3. A player is allowed unlimited attempts to stop the progress bar on a prize zone.
4. On successfully stopping the progress bar on a prize zone before the Cat blinks or looks away, a player may then enter the relevant prize draw by entering their first name, surname, email address and postcode.
5. A player may enter each of the five draws once, if successfully stopping the progress bar on each prize zone before the cat blinks or looks away.

The details of the prizes are as follows:

Holiday to Brazil: This is a ten night “two centre” holiday to Brazil. The prize is for two people and includes all internationals flights and transfers ( with English speaking representative ). Flights are from London Heathrow. Actual travel dates are subject to availability and may exclude Bank Holidays. The holiday needs to be taken between 1st June and 27th December 2008.

The first three nights will be spent in the city of Rio de Janeiro staying at the Rio Othon 5 Star Hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Transfers will then be provided to the beach resort of Buzios, staying at the 5 Star Villa D’Este on a Bed & Breakfast Basis.
Spending money, lunch and evening meals are not included. Winners must also provide their own travel insurance.

The selected winner will be put in contact with the tour operator for this holiday to arrange dates.

Ski trip to Val d’Isere: This is a seven night ski holiday to Val d’Isere to be taken in the 2008/09 ski season. The prize is for two people and includes flights and transfers from London Gatwick Airport. The winners will be staying at the 4 Star Hotel Lattitudes in Val D’Isere, France.
This is on a half board basis so breakfast and dinner are included.
Spending money, ski equipment hire and lift passes are not included. Winners must also provide their own winter sports travel insurance.
Actual travel dates are subject to availability and may exclude Bank Holidays.
The selected winner will be put in contact with the tour operator for this holiday to arrange dates.

New York City Break: This is a three night city break to New York City.
The prize is for two people and includes flights from a London Airport.
The prize is staying in the 4 star Bentley Hotel in New York City on a room only basis. Spending money, lunch and evening meals are not included. Winners must also provide their own travel insurance.

This prize must be taken between September 2007 and February 2008. Actual travel dates are subject to availability and exclude all bank holidays, school holidays and all departures in December 2008.
The selected winner will be put in contact with the tour operator for this holiday to arrange dates.

Mini Mediterranean Cruise: This prize is for two people on a four night Short Western Med Cruise with Royal Caribbean International on the ship Navigator of the Seas. The trip departs on the 12th June from Barcelona. The prize includes flights from London airports to Barcelona.
The cruise is full board and includes all meals. Alcoholic drinks are not included. Winners must provide their own travel insurance.
The selected winner will be put in contact with the tour operator for this holiday to arrange dates.

UK Country Break Hotel: This prize is for two people for two nights bed & breakfast in an Executive Room at the 4 Star North Lakes Hotel and Spa at Penrith in The Lake District.
The prize must be taken before 31st March 2009 and dates are subject to availability and exclude Easter, Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays.
Spending money, lunch and evening meals are not included.
The selected winner will be put in contact with the tour operator for this holiday to arrange dates.

1. All prizes may not be transferred to any other person.
2. There are no cash alternatives or alternative prizes available.
3. In the event of the advertised competition prizes being unavailable Teletext Limited reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
4. The availability of dates for each of the holidays will be communicated to the five winners by Teletext Limited or its holiday suppliers to the winners on an individual basis.
5. The holiday agent for each prize will book the prize with guidance from the individual winners.
6. Winners will be formally notified (by email or post) within 4 days of the closing date. Full details of the prize will be given in writing upon notification. Where we notify a winner by email, we will ask for confirmation of receipt by reply email.
7. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Teletext Limited will not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in a competition.
9. Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
10. Use of false name or address, for example, a name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Teletext Limited reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and age and address as directed by Teletext Limited before such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Teletext Limited shall, at its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported by such documentation for identification purposes (we will reimburse all reasonable travel costs incurred) prior to releasing the prize.
11. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
12. Teletext Limited shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such modification or termination on the Teletext Holidays website.
13. For the prize winners only, we may pass your details on to our service providers and agents for the purposes of sending you the prize on our behalf.
14. These rules are governed by English law.
