Barclays cancelled my loan insurance

when i became ill I sent my details and doctors notes to Barclayloan only to be told I had cancelled my insurance on the policy which I had not done.
I took this to the ombudsman who have decided that even though Barclayloan have admitted they have no letter from me and no evidence at all that I cancelled the insurance, the ombudsman believe that I did cancel the insurance. The ombudsman agrees that Barclayloan will only cancel the insurance on receipt of instructions from me but in the same breath There has been no paperwork either way but they have just decided to cancel the insurance .
