Savings with a cashpoint card?

Is there such a thing as a Savings account where you can get money out with a cashpoint card - or does that defeat the object of it being a "Savings account"
But if there is.... where?

Halifax websaver has the option of a card, rates aren't as good as without.

If I'm reading the above right, you are saying that you get a better rate without the card.
Unless they have changed it (again) in the last few days, Halifax actually give you a better rate on the websaver account with a card. So it makes sense to have this version of the account currently. You need to review things in mid-July when bonus period ends.
Imprudent granting of credit is bound to prove just as ruinous to a bank as to any other merchant.

No, just going to have to reorganise :)
It's only available until mid-July Al, when it falls from it's current* 5.75% to (I would imagine) a pretty poor rate.

    * It'll probably be only 5.50% from the end of this month if (when?) BOE rates are cut on Thursday.
