Evening all. Had a great night again last night if a touch quieter. Went to see an irish band and then on to the usual pub. Other than the cost of petrol spent £4 :T :D Got home about 3.30am so needless to say absolutely knackered now! lol Just chilling with a beer (Thanks Ste for sharing :D) My legs are aching like hell though I think from all the running I've been doing this week. lol. Oh well.. need to train hard as my Race for Life is in just over 3 weeks. :)

Was really annoyed today as I took the orders from the girls at work's AS party and only one paid so I've still got £100 odd owing on my AS account as I can't pay it off and get paid myself until they pay up.

Have had a bad week DFW wise, and my love hate relationship with the egg card grows further...
Added to the egg card this week..
    2 pairs of running shoes
    Mate's birthday present
    Ste's fathers day present
New bike for Ash as we'd realised she'd outgrown her little toddler trike.

:wall: Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Have one party this week and 3 the week after. Going to have to earn some serious cash to get this card sorted. Can't believe I was stupid enough to defrost the egg card all for some stupid running trainers which led to a freefall.:doh:

Oh well. We've been here many times before... and it'll be paid off ASAP.
The egg card however, is going back in the bloody freezer

No band practice this week because of fathers day. Not sure what we're doing tomorrow although need to nip round our mates and drop off his birthday pressie. :)

Haven't even braved looking at internet banking yet... however yesterday I did renew our tax credits and have started to complete my tax return... _pale_

Other than that all is ok in IAland. The girls are well, Ste's ear infection isn't great but he's bumbling along. I'm starting to think I'm having some kind of quarter life crisis but I'm sure I'll survive.. :rotfl:

Hope everyone's well and having a good weekend. :)

Good to hear from you Sar. Feel sad about Keren leaving altho I understand the reasons behind it. Snags not been about much either, she did post briefly last night on the party thread, think she has had a bad week too. As Keren said, it's good that you seem to have made a better social life for yourself. Hope that you are enjoying everything even if you are knackered. Sorry about Ste's ear and hope your gorgeous girlies are OK. XX

Sar wait til you get to my age - it's a mid-life crisis ! . I did wonder about Keren going so abruptly, perhaps if she had started to do other stuff first and then naturally had less time to come on here when her social life got busier it would be less worrying for us. We would know about it IYSWIM. I hope that she has got some 'real' friends locally to turn to .

My gut instinct is that it's man trouble.... wondering whether they've had a fall out and he's banned her from MSE?

Ooh well , if you are right, I hope she has banned him from the pub ! Perhaps if they spend more time together they can work things out. Hope so

Yep. I remember that feeling from when my mum died. Wasn't normal for a good 6 months... everything was a blur.

Yeah I felt the same when my dad died and started to become quite compulsive about lots of things...in fact I still am.
I hope Keren is ok, her post certainly made me think about my own life!
