Well I must admit, the idea of a freebie was what caught my eye :T. I suppose there's always eBay - although I don't often use it myself after someone tried to rip me off with a fake CD :o.

I've only bought one MAC item to be honest and that was one of their Shade-sticks in 'Sharkskin'. I've almost completely gone over to mineral make-up these days, but if I find any decent sites I'll let you know.

Lacura foundation at Aldi 99p, I tried it and I like it but I'm not up with all the good stuff, No7 radiant glow was the last one I had.
    At 99p it's worth a try.

    Hi,
sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I've only just discovered it - Ethel Austin!
I don't usually go in, but am after a cheap bag to go with an outfit I don't plan on wearing often. Popped into EA today and was amazed to see LOADS of branded make up (I'm talking Urban Decay, Too faced, along with Rimmel, Maybelline etc) at incredibly cheap prices. The UD lipgloss that is normally about 8 quid, £3! Rimmel Mascare for £1.50! Let me tell you it took willpower to walk out of there without a whole pile of stuff I didn't need. Maybe it is the old ranges but hey who cares, if its a nice colour that suits you, it's still good quality stuff!

Just had to share, go check it out!

If that is what suits your skin - do you really want to change?

What is it that is scaring you?

At the end of the day most products you can buy from supermarkets and chemists are by products of the petrol chemical industry - as are a lot of our clothes and furnishings and things we use around the house, but they have been cleared as safe for use.

Now personally for me - my skin dont like any of them so I have had to go as natural as possible - now I use castor and olive oil as a cleanser, vit E oil and rose oils for moisturisers and mineral make up. Its taken a few years of down shifting on products to get to this very minimal routine but it works for me.

Theres loads of threads here that are full of advice on more natura beauty regimes - have a looksie, if you have specific questions just post questions - loads of people here with experiences to share

    Hi Suki,
Which mineral make up have you found to be good?

My skin hates everything on the market except clinique products (not cheap!!) and I also have a very minimal routine and use rose oils and vitamin E oils.

Some of us who have really sensitive skins are getting great results from Elemental Beauty (go look at the mineral make up thread) Genie done a lot of research and its the allotonian in the healing foundation that makes all the difference. I have seb Derm which when flares up leave my face red and scaly and the EB not only covers it but goes a way to calming it down

I find it helps with hiding cranial shingles too.
