I'm still riled (and have compiled a list in my head of what he 'should' be doing' - aaarrggh) but anyway.....

Bunny - I think it's time to get out - fast. It sounds like they are using you as a scapegoat. Ask them for the gripes in writing and their reasoning (on an email at least), so they can't just say stuff and then twist it at another time (oh, how experienced am I of that in the work place in the past?!)

I think you'd be fab running your own business of some kind, you're so bubbly and warm, you'd be really successful.

    Ditto that!

I have "booked" my summer holidays!!! yay me!!!

Me, Erin and my mum are going to Haven in Wales, i'd say where but i can't spell it. Pwhelli or something like that.

My brothers lives in Wrexham. His partners family have a 3 bedroom chalet so we are meeting up with Bro and SIL plus his daughter and her granddaughter, should be fun!!! There will be 7 of us, but place sleeps 8. Poor Stuart will be with 6 females!!!

Best of all it will only be half of the normal £600 for a week there as her family own it, so are only charging us £300, which we will split 50/50 so will cost me £150 for me mum n Erin for a week!! Bargain!

Have booked my time off work, and now it's just a case of paying the £150 to Carol at month end and waiting and saving!!!

Quidco has £50 tracking from Grand National and it will pay out by end of june, so extra spending money too! I must quidco like mad in the next month to bump that up!

I won £30 on GN on saturday, plus another £30 on Celtic getting beat by Motherwell. Oh dear, not good to bet on your own team getting beat but the odds were so good and it was free money!! ooooer! My old dad would be turning in his grave!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I'm feeling a bit funny about the age gap to be honest, did you feel that way? My son will be 18 when this one arrives, DD1 will be 12 and Amber 11. In one way it makes no difference because Amber will always be a small child developmentally so it isn't like I won't always be a mum to a little one. But it all just feels odd right now. maybe it's all hormones, I'm feeling a bit low and tearful and already can hardly find anything to fit, I'm gaining weight because I'm snacking all day to get rid of the sickness. Don't get me wrong I am happy, but just thought I was done with all of this.

There's 11 years between me and my youngest sister Toto and it was never an issue. She really looked up to me as a child and it was never something we thought about. I've also got a brother and sister in the 'middle' of the 2 of us , so I don't think the age difference will be anything to worry about.

I am the eldest of 5 and the only girl. I was 21 when my youngest brother was born 5 months before my 1st son:eek: Its lovely to have such an age range in the family, although I am always referred to as big sister:rolleyes: Nice having all those helping hands too:D

Hi Everybody - hope you all had a good weekend! Sorry to hear of various ailments and OH traumas still Keren and Bunny with your work - I do hope something comes up for you very soon and you can move on! Hope everybody else is OK!

Not doing too bad hear in not so sunny Suffolk today! Getting a bit nervous about a meeting tomorrow, where they might be wanting us to up sticks and move towns! All speculation of course, but it really wouldn't surprise me. The only advantage is that for 3 or 4 years they've got to pay me disturbance and travel, inthe form of either lots of petrol money or a train ticket! Not looking forward to it at all and by this time tomorrow there are going to be some glum faces in here! Anyone else been through the trauma of relocation?

Well, does moving from Canada to England count as relocating stress?

I found it harder than I thought and making friends was the worst bit...
12 years on though, it's ok.
    Good luck hunny x

Hmmm, bit of a difference - our relocation is 30 miles! I just suppose that having been comfortable in living and working in the same town for years and years and the thought of change takes me out of my comfort zone! But I suppose we all have these challenges in life to overcome and it's not like we're being made redundant - I'll just have to get up earlier in the morning to make sure I get to work on time now!
