Vanquis Card

I was disgusted to receive a credit card mailing from Vanquis Card which offers cards to people with poor credit history, including County Court Judgements, but at an extortianate interest rate of 49.9%!

The company obviously relies on the applicants to default on their payments so they can pocket a fortune in interest. They also have the cheek to charge an annual fee of £19.

A few on here have the Vanquis visa and they pay in full every month to avoid interest.
If you don’t pay in full every month then you pay some interest, but people on here pay in full because they know they will get hammered with the interest.
And a few have said the interest rate wasn’t that high, and when they got their card it was a lot lower than on the leaflet, also a lot on here are very happy with the card.

Just have an evil laugh and bin the bloody thing, they sent me a credit agreement to fill in and send back being certain I would want one but I binned it anyway.
