Ovenmate is excellent. If you are a Costco member, you can buy a pack of two for less than one from Lakeland or Kleeneze...0

Im surprised that no-one has mentioned Barkeeper's Friend. It is really good especially for hobs and oven glass. Make the powder into a paste and let it sit on an area of your hob for 10-15 mins then wipe off with a J cloth. You will be amazed. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

I use a cheap steam cleaner on all our stubborn bits, works a treat and infinitely reusable. You have to join in a bit with a scrubby but it's well worth it. Lidl and Aldi as well as all the other supermarkets have these for a very good price.0

ASDA do still stock it (67p), altho' it does tend to be at floor level, so you buy the expensive stuff at eye level. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0
