ebay have a 5p Listing day on Thursday 25th August. The 5p Listing day is for Auction listings only. For Irish sellers, there's a 5c Listing Day.
Full Details
What Is It?
On Thursday 25th August 2005 (local UK time), sellers listing in Auction-style format in an eligible category, will pay 5 pence (£0.05 GBP) insertion fee.
When
Thursday 25th August 2005 between 00:00:01 BST and 23:59:59 BST
what's Included?
Only listings in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk will qualify for the 5p insertion fees. All listings must be auction-style listings.
Any item previously scheduled to go live on Thursday 25th August 2005 will qualify for the 5 pence insertion fee promotion.
If you re-list an item on Thursday 25th August that had previously closed without a successful sale, it will qualify for the 5 pence insertion fee promotion.
What's Excluded?
Any item listed with Fixed Price (Buy It Now) format
Items listed in the Automotive (Cars, Classic Cars, Motorcycles or Other Vehicles) and Properties categories.
Multiple-Item Listings (also known as Dutch Auctions).
Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy.
Shops Inventory Format listings.
Any item listed on 25th August 2005 but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will NOT qualify for the promotion.
Only the basic eBay listing fee will be reduced to 5p. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, Optional Reserve Price fees and all listing upgrade fees such as Bold or Highlight. For full details see eBay fees.
Members listing with the auction-style format but choosing to add the Buy It Now feature will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now at £0.06 per listing.
Further Information
If the item is listed in 2 categories, the insertion fee will be calculated as 5p multiplied by 2 ie, 10 pence.
If you revise a qualifying listing created on 25th August at a later date, you will be charged the normal insertion fee, NOT the 5 pence promotional fee.
If the listing qualifies for this promotion, the "sell your item" form will show that a discounted insertion fee of 5p has been charged.

Yippee,
Just what I wanted, I was actually planning to load my Turbo lister anyway this week ready for the next offer day.
It's my favourite sort as well where you only pay the 5p up front, you don't have to pay the full amount and reclaim later. That means you can see instantly you list that you fulfil any terms and conditions of the offer.
One word of warning though, make sure you double check your listings before listing. Any changes to the listing at all after Thursday will mean the full charge will be applied rather than the 5p, this is to stop sellers listing 100s of blank auctions so that they can go in later and revise them all when they have time.

A tip for newer sellers. Whatever your usual pattern of listing is it is probably worth setting the opening price on an offer day to the minimum you will accept. On non offer days starting a high price item at 99p can be a benefit as it really encourages competition but on an offer day the overall bids are less and so much gets listed your auction might get overlooked and snapped up by a bargain hunter.
Also make use of the various auction lengths, again on an offer day most people will list for 10 days and this often results in major problems on ebay on the Sunday evening at the end of 10 days. Think about listing for 7 days, or for popular items you know will selll, 3 days.
IT might also still be worth considering paying an extra 15p for a gallery photo for high end items so they don't get overlooked in the pages of similair items.
Happy selling..

Reading the terms and conditions it would appear that listing a high start item at say £50 with say a £60 BIN would cost you 11p, ie 5p for the listing plus 6p for the BIN. Plus of course any additional things like gallery.
If you have more than one to sell and list each seperately you will pay the basic 11p for each listing.
If you have sevral it might be worth staggering them, I've done this for a few of my items, a couple on a 7 day sauction and a couple on a 10 day auction.
