Car boots in Shropshire??

Hi
I've never been to a car boot sale, but have a lots of my mums old stuff to sell. Does anyone know if there are any car boot sales in Shropshire preferably near Shrewsbury but elsewhere will do?? I've looked online and in the Shropshire star and can't find anything.

If there are: I need to know: where, when, times, and how much per car

Also any tips for selling stuff - do people price up their stuff in advance? how do I display it all.

Many thanks in advance
Mimosa

If you can travel, Churk. Its HUGE, and always busy :) Shrewsbury rarely do anything, and if they do, they're not that popular i'm afraid :(

Churk is usually every sunday, people have been known to get there 5am (best to be set up by 9am imo). No idea on cost, as for prices, I usually don't price up, least you can help negociate a price.

Check the local Admag, there are two pubs in Shrewsbury that run car boot sales on alternate Sunday mornings, they are The Coracle and The Harry Hotspur.

I made quite a bit of money on the last one I did, but best to get there quite early.

Forgot to add that it is £5 per car but that gets donated towards Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Do they still have them at the Cattle Market on Harlescott - or is just a giant Sunday Market now?

Also try the Shrewsbury Chronicle - out Thursday morning should have ads for the coming weekend's car boots.

Check the admag on a Thursday they are always listed in this. The brooklands pub has one most Sundays, made nearly £100 last time I went there. Also Crowmoor school used to have a really big one once a month, not sure if they still do though.

Yes I was wondering if they still have them there. Does anyone know.
Thanks for tips - unfortunately Admag doesn't come to our house, but I'll look in the Chronicle
