Claiming housing benefit

I'm self employed and funds are tight and my landlord has decided to sell my flat, meaning i've got to find a new place fairly quickly.
entitledto.co.uk says I am entitled to both housing benefit and council tax benefit although which do I do first, move and then get them set up or the reverse.
Also whats the best way to claim? I've seen the forms on the DWP website.
Thanks for the help

If you look on the website of your local council you will find the rates of LHA that you are entitled to. Then you can find a property that you can afford, and once you have agreed to a tenancy, you can claim LHA.
Alternatively you can claim for the property that you are currently in, and then transfer your claim when you move.Gone ... or have I?0
