Triple set of home phones problem

Im looking for some advice please, i bought a set of bt mango triple phones in october and for the past 3 or 4 months if im on a call over 2 mins then i can have the phone cutting out and it seems to look to register the handset to the base as the aerial type symbol flashes and the call is cut off:mad: up until today i thought that was part of the set up but on speaking to my aunt who has a 4 phone set up and it doesnt happen to hers
Can anyone help with whether this is right or wrong? Also would i go back to argos with them or contact bt about them? as i know it shouldnt be the line as it started when we had a virgin line n but we transfered to bt who ran a new line in and it still happens but i dont know where to put the blame now - faulty handset or not?
Any thoughts please?
