you have the option with most to cover personal possessions both at home and away, but unless your phone is very valuable then paying out an excess will not make it worth claiming.0

If your phone is the only item lost it may not be worth claiming, depending on the level of excess you choose, e.g. if you choose a £200 excess and factor in how much your premium might go up as a result of your claim. However, your phone will be covered and you may well lose other items at the same time, making it more worthwhile to claim. See how much the cover costs with the lowest possible excess and decide whether it's worth your while.0
