    Install and run spybot search and destroy, install and run avast antivirus, or format your hard disk and reinstall the operating system, problem sorted. If you have any questions or need any help there are many people on here willing to do so. Good luck.

    we will check if Mcaffee has expired at the end , it's easy to remove using Add/remove programs and then replace with AVG free antivirus

    Formatting is a last resort

    99.9% of the time the correct software will remove the offender and leave you with a clean working system

    Download Kaspersky 30 day trial install and update then scan computer.

    Also you could grab the free SuperAntispyware update and run that .

    Both work on Vista both do a proper job and are not going to say you have this that and the other virus BUY ME .

    No need to do a format and reinstall yet .
