Bulbs/tublers - How long can they be kept?

In preparation of getting some much needed colour in my garden this year I purchased gladioli, primula vialli, hosta's, lupins and sea holly. However since we got a bit of a windfall, we have decided to re turf our garden and this will include some intense levelling. So, I have decided to delay planting as they will probably get damaged and I wondered how long they will last?

Sorry, for the long winded beginning!!!!

Only the gladioli in this list grows from a bulb, the rest will deteriorate pretty quickly if stored. I'd put everything into pots asap and keep them "ticking over" until you ready to use 'em.
