Laufen toilet

Hi
We have a Laufen Il Bagno Alessi toilet in the bathroom which looks very nice and sleek.
The problem is that the seat has come loose and due to the design there doesn't appear to be any way to access the fixings to tighten the seat up.
I disconnected it from the services and pulled it out but still couldn't find the fixings.
Can anyone help
Thank you

I think it's an anagram of "April Fool" in Italian !
PS: just Googled it. £2500 for a loo!!!! - definitely an April Fool or Wayne Rooney !
If you afford that, get a Plumber in !0 -
Hi
The seat will have top fixing,AKA 'blind' fixing. In other words it's screwed down from the top. You might get some detail from the Alessi web site or contact them as to how it works on that wc.
Not sure I would want to fit something that expensive!! One turn too many on the screwdriver fixing it down and ....Hmmmm.

Are you saying you have nothing to go on???"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
I would imagine there is a removable cover on the hinge, pop that off and you should see the screw of "blind" fixing, tighten that up and put the covers back on... job done...0

The loo was already in the house. Didn't realise how much it was worth:eek: I wouldn't / couldn't afford to pay that amount.
Thanks for the replies about the top fixings. I will have a look later.
I checked out the suppliers website, but it wasn't very helpful.0 -
I love Alessi designs, but would not pay so much for their toilet :j0

They aren't worth that amount ! What people will pay for them is another matter0 -
At the base of the seat about an inch from each end insert litle flat screwdriver 3-4 mm in and carefuly push up. Do that at each end and the seat will come off. Then you will need an alan key to thighten up the to screws and replace the seat by just pressing the base down. So easy. Good luck :T0

At the base of the seat 25 mm from each end insert small flat screwdriver about 3-4 mm and push up gently. Do that each end and the seat will pop up. Use an alan key to tighten up the screws and push the base of the seat down. So easy! Good luck!
