Npower "Fix For Free"
Comments
-
I have been reading with interest the above threads. I contacted npower this morning. I got through right away.
We are currently on the 'sign on line price' which is:
First 728 kw in year = 18.31
Remainder in year = 9.72
With the 'fix for free' you would be placed on 'standard tariff prices' which are:
First 728 kw in year = 13.50
Remainder in year = 10.90
I have been checking comparison companies and with our annual usage we could make a saving of approximately £60.
Is it worth a swap I ask myself.
The 'fix for free' sounds good but is it really that good? What they give you on one hand, they take from the other.
I have to say a big thank you to Martin for all his useful tips. My car insurance was up for renewal, I checked the comparison sites and my quote as a new customer with the same company was £40 cheaper, so guess what, I swapped.
