How do I keep documents private?

Another great way is to install the excellent free software Truecrypt. This allows you to create a completely private password protected drive (e.g. H:) which is stored on your normal hard drive as a single file. You can make a Truecrypt drive as large or small as you want, can store them on memory sticks and rest assured that the strong encryption means it is very unlikely that anyone will ever be able to see the contents.

I second mike's idea which I find to be the best and most convenient way. Just use TrueCrypt and create an encrypted container where you can put all your important files. Never forget the password whatever you do. Oh and truecryprt also runs in traveller's mode so you can carry it on your USB drive and take it with you safely wherever you go,Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0
