RBOS platinum cc - backlog - how long did it take you to complete

in Credit cards
i applied 9/8/05 for above. they say there is a backlog cos of effective campaign. anyone recently applied that can say how long it took - i desperately need my virgin to be paid off by 7 sep !!!! or i get hit with £109 interest !

they say they have approved but are waitin for my signed contract printed by me and posted on 9/8/05.

    We had to ask for the contract to be resent 3 times. Last time asked for it to be sent recorded delivery bu they refused. I dont remember how long it took in the end but we are there.

    latest today from rbos - card is now being processed however they cannot do bal transfer to virgin cos it isnt recogbised by their experian database - hmmm could there be a loop hole here for you guys/gals as they have given £10k credit limit even though this week halifax declined an app.

    now i must ring to bal transfer when i receive the card - hope its not goin to cost me to bal transf this way

    An update on my application. I called today to find out why the replacement documentation which they promised would be sent to me by first class post on Monday hadn't arrived by Wednesday. Turns out they've miraculously found the originals I sent so my account has been set up and my card is being sent.
