Just wondering if it is still worthwhile claiming bank and credit card charges?

I am sure i have read on here somewhere that is is still worth claiming bank and CC charges.
I did sometime last year and got a letter saying they are going to wait and see what happens with the case, then look into it if need be after the case.
As when i sent the letter to my bank for the 6 years charges, by the time the case finishes, some of those charges will be OVER the 6 years so as i put these charges in the letter BEFORE the 6 years were up i am hoping i can still claim for the ones i was claiming for which are now over the 6 years.
It is certainly worth a try.
