i'm on AOL and use Internet explorer/firefox (haven't even got their software installed) and I've just accessed it 30 mins ago to place a bet, so it is working.0

when aol were my ISP I just used IE because I couldn't be bothered with AOL's browser.
If you need to access you mail you can log onto AOL in IE as wellMy opinions are purely my own act on them at your own risk :think:0 -
no problem for me just logged into betfair and with aol0

are you using AOL's software ?0

There shouldn't be any problem with the new law in terms of home access, the only issues that arose were in computers on site in a casino etc being classed as a gaming machine.Bought, not Brought0

What message does it give you?
I think AOL's IPs are registered in the US making it appear like you're from there. It might be that Ladbrokes have blocked you.0 -
We have a lot of problems with AOL at work.
We have improved the security for our online ecommerce server as we're dealing with credit cards etc but now any of our customers that use AOL have problems logging in as the AOL software doesn't support the improved security protocols that we've been told to use by the credit card companies!
Basically the AOL software needs updating for modern security protocols.0 -
You can always call them and ask them to send your balance back to your card.
Many AOL users seems to have problems with bookies and it's thought the bookies see the IP address as American and Americans aren't allowed to bet. After posting about receiving an email to my MSE username/email from 'Money Expert' (note the use of ' '), I am now unable to post on MSE. Such is life.0 -
Also had this problem, could not get on a lot of bookies no matter what browser we were using. AOL told us it was because we had an american IP address and there was nothing they could do.
One of the many reasons we are now with virgin!Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
