Switching video orientation by 90 degrees

Hi all,

I have some video which was taken on my Samsund Digimax digital camera. Nothing unusual there..I hear you say.

However, Some of the videos were taken with the camera in the vertical position instead of the horizontal position.

This means that when I come to view the video the picture is on its side.

Is there some free software that will swap the orientation for me, by 90 degrees.

And no, I do not want to put the monitor on its side to view the video the right way around

Open Windows Movie Maker (it's part of Windows, so should be on your pc).

Select Import Video, select your video to be rotated

Drag video to timeline

Select View Video effects

Drag the effect rotion required, 90 or 270 degrees

Drag the effect to the video on the timeline

Once rotated, select Save to my Computer

Enter name for your new rotated video

Save as Best quality for my computer.

There you go
