Hi, my hubby told me something similar about the payments increasing. Apparently mine will be going up about £3/4 over the next week or 2.0

Hello,
The new tax year has started today so your tax credits payments may change. All payments made from the 6th April 2008 will be classed as provisional payments subject to you completing a renewal form. If you look at your last up to date award notice you will see Tax Credits have told you what your payments will be.

I havent heard anything. I think I get £10.22 a week or something like that. Is it increasing then?0

If you only get £10/wk, and have kids, it looks like you get the family element only. If this is the case - no its not going up, and hasnt since tax credits started in April 2003. grrr.0
