I do love the idea of snow, but don't like the squalid reality in town. damp litter and yellow snow... :rolleyes:

I can remember getting the kids out of bed one night about 9 pm (about 14 years ago!) so that they could see the snow. They stood in a row in wellies, coats and trousers over pyjamas, shivering and confused. It all vanished by morning and none of their friends believed them until a teacher confirmed it had snowed.

Well it was a teeny tiny snowman :rotfl: only about a foot high! At the rate it was melting I had no chance of building a big one.

I love snow, makes me feel like a kid, but hate driving in it, especially where I live is rural/non council road so we don't get gritters. So glad it's melted before I need to go out.

When the 'phone rang this morning at 7.30am :eek: there was snow outside, when I woke up again at 10.30am it had all gone!
