Northern Rock to Keupthing Edge

I want to transfer some money from my Northern Rock account to my newly opened Keupthing Edge account. Is it possible to transfer the money directly or will it have to be transferred via my nominated account?

As far as i know you can only have one nominated account and that account must be the accound which you transfer funds to and from.

Can you not transfer the NR funds accross then to the nominated account? You will loose about 14days max at this, more likely 7days.

Actually I think you can transfer funds TO your Kaupthing account from anywhere using the sort code and account number. It's only when you're withdrawing funds that you can only go to your nominated account.
