            We've been inundated with ladybirds all winter, they seem to have got indoor to hibernate. They've all gone now.
 They didn't all look like the 'standard' ladybirds, though, wasn't there something about a plague of ladybirds from Europe overrunning our own native ones?0

 Read the link cjb02 and I haven't seen any of the blighters. Last year I had lots of Common and at least one Cream Spot in the tiny front garden. Think they like it there as I stopped spraying for aphids 8 years ago, haven't had a problem with them from the second year.
 From the map it seems to be spreading North like everything else. I'm in the North West and lucky so far.
 What Ladybirds do folk here get and where do they live?
 Could be interesting to know. They obviously have a fan base here
