Keep receiving this email... which as I don't have a Halifax account is obviously a scam as it requires you to use a link to give your bank details.
If you are a Halifax account holder DO NOT CLICK on the link.

That requires you to update the Billing Information.
Failure to update your records will result in account termination.
Please update your records within 24 hours. Once you have updated your account records,

I have been getting those too and after contacting Halifax they asked me to forward them to [EMAIL="security@hbosplc.com"]security@hbosplc.com[/EMAIL]0

yes they have been going around for years.
this type of fraud has been decriminalised and my spam filter calls it "phishing"0 -
Phishing mails, virtually all banks have a warning about them when you log in. I get about four a day, from "Halifax, Nat West, Nationwide, Abbey". I just bin them.0

I get one from abbey, halifax,natwest, lloyds tsb & hsbc lol, i just delete them. i would never fall for them becuase there logo is not clear (banks) and there is no template, its just ppl that have not life! oh and i dont have an account with any offer them except halifax!0

Yeah, but do they (the banks) actually do anything with the phishing emails you forward to them or just bin them and do nowt?0
