Alba STB2 Freeview Box

Needed a second freeview box and found these on sale at a local Sainsbury's last week at £29.99.
Did a quick web search in case of any known problems, but drew a blank in terms of reviews so presumably this is a new product.
No problems with initial setup and all expected channels working ok for first few hours. Unfortunately, after this time the screen started juddering on all channels (Think 'Max Headroom' if you're old enough!). This was corrected by unplugging and restarting the box, but again after a few hours the glitch reoccured.
On returning the box to Sainsbury's they confirmed that 2 other purchasers have also returned theirs in recent days, though they couldn't confirm if it was for the same fault.
Might be the proverbial 'faulty batch', but you might like to avoid purchasing this box until reviews can confirm this was just 'bad luck' on our part.
(We did search for software updates via the onscreen menu but none was available).
