                    I am sick to death of these iidiots, and i beieve from reading these boards i am not alone!! Can anyone tell me how good is the service on the 3 mobile £10a month deal for one of those dongles that fit a laptop and can be used anywhere? Alos will it work in a regulasr home PC?. My idea is to cut virgin out of te equation all together by doing this and not ahving a home phone as i am usually on my mobile

            My brother uses Vodafone and he says it's nice and reliable/stable. It all depends on where you are and where you're going. You're going to get ups and downs with any provider.- Google is your friend, use it :rolleyes:0

            But basically there is nothing stopping me using this is in a home pC and a laptop0

            The thing I would worry about is how much data you are allowed on 3mobile's data connection.
 By the looks of it anything over 1gb a month could see you fall foul of their "fair use" policy, at least on the silver tier, and I can't find more info on the gold tier.Internet Unlimited
 What you get:
 * Unlimited Windows Live Messenger* already included in your price plan
 * Unlimited data* to use on:
 § Web surfing with Yahoo! Search
 § Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, GMail or pretty much any internet service provider's email account
 § Podcasts
 § eBay - Free on your price plan
 Cost: £5 a month.
 * Subject to fair use
 We have fair use limits and hope you’ll use your common sense. These limits should be big enough for you to do all the things you want to do. But we’ll get in touch with you if we think you’re using our services unfairly, and especially if you’re abusing them. If we find people are using Internet Unlimited above these limits, we’ll review them. Here’s our take on fair use:
 Unlimited data is 1GB per month. Also, your data usage doesn’t include using your mobile as a modem.
 Windows Live Messenger won’t count towards your monthly data fair use limit but has its own limit of 10,000 messages per month.
 More Information
 Internet Unlimited has a minimum period of 6 months when bought on connection to 3. Or if bought after connection there's no minimum period . After this it stays active on your account until you cancel it. If you don’t use your monthly allowance it doesn’t roll over to the next month.
 I'm not sure how to take the bit about "your data usage doesn’t include using your mobile as a modem".0
