Hi GG,
Hopefully you're out there in Webshire somewhere.
Do you want to pay up on the bet now or wait? My charity is Crossroads (link). You've accepted what the future holds for house prices so will you pay up now?
Best regards,
Generali

We had a bet a while back. Basically the terms were that if the property market went to hell in a hand basket he'd pay some cash (£10/£100, can't remember) to a charity of my choosing, if it didn't I'd pay the same to a charity of his choice.
I just remembered the bet and GG has changed his mind about the future of house prices in the UK and I was wondering if he wanted to pay up now or if he would prefer to go through the tedious process of waiting for me to be proven correct.0 -
I don't hear no fat lady singing.
Clicky
But she might be clearing her throat.
However, it is this postcode that decides. In fact, that's the same house.

I'm hardly think that you can use a place in Hartlepool as a benchmark, Gorgeous, I'm mean have you every been to Hartlepool, you can't really call it 'normal'?

They hang monkeys in Hartlepool.

The bet was made/taken on 15/10/2007I'll have a tenner charity bet with you if you like. My belief is that house prices are going to fall and it's the hellholes that are going to be hit hardest.
Ten quid to my charity if the average of the first 8 sales on Perth Street , Hartlepool after 1/1/2009 is less than £57,213.75. Ten quid to yours if it's £57,213.76 or greater.

Old boy; I even gave you inflation on your side of the bet.
If you want to keep the bet going then so be it.0
