  • Sorry if I broke the rules earlier, I didn't mean to be naughty! I'm surprised that the info on the What Really Works link gives the price of Multibionta as £4.49 for 30. In my experience it costs £3-4, depending on where you buy it. I get it from Morrisons where it costs £2.99.

Some great suggestions here, many thanks. I also got this book from work through the book people for £4 - The Food Doctor ISBN 1-84340-187-8.

It's not specifically related to the diet but it covers quite a lot of information about food and their healing abilities. It's amazing how much better I feel on this diet, no more spots and rarely tired out :D

I've borrowed the following from a friend, all very good:
You need to be careful with the Cooking Without books, some recipes have sugar in, if you on a Candida diet obviously you can't use it.
I'm four days in and having big sugar cravings :( best thing I've found so far is to go and make something you are allowed that takes a while to cook, cake etc. By the time it's finished cooking my craving has passed and I'm left with something to eat at lunch the next day!
:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:

I did the strict diet for months a few years back and would definitely recommend the Erica White book.
Another one worth getting is Low Fat Low Sugar by Rose Elliot. Amazon have it used & new from £3.76

This also excludes yeast etc and is perfect for the anti-candida diet.

I second trace J recomendation on Erica White's book. I had one of her books, but lent to a friend and never saw again :( I remember there was a lush cake recipie in there that was a doddle to make!
Here's a link to Erica White's website - you might find some good info on there.
