Car Insurance- Cheap companies

Hello,

I am looking to purchase car insurance and feel relly annoyed. My friends son is under 25 with 3 years no claims and his insurance is cheaper than any i have been quoted!!

I have been driving over 30years with no claims.

I have used confused.com but wondered if anyone could recommend soem good companies!

You could try, via https://www.greasypalm.co.uk, Lloyds Tsb Car Insurance. You'll get 10% off their normal premium discount, which is 5%, plus a £60 Greasypalm rebate! It's hard to beat and I took it up. And you'll receive the rebate within a couple of months.

https://www.moneysupermarket.com will get loads of quotes, and they are considerably easier to use that the pile of junk that is confused.com.

morethan were over £80 less than any other insurers for me. I am over 30, female, my car is always at least on the drive when parked and have full no claims but my policy is still £388!

i have just been quoted a really good price from More than insurance......too good to be true??

Any body had any dealings with this company?

We have been looking for insurance for my Girlfriend, she is 21, and is getting a V reg Renault Clio 1.6 rxe..tried the usual diamond, elephant etc etc..tesco were over £1200 with me on it too....
Had an email saying Norwich Union Direct are giving 25% off througout August/September...tried them..12 month policy with me on it, comprehensive cover, £220 excess, GF pays extra £150 excess if accident is her fault... for a total of £454. which i think is dirtcheap as she only has a provisional licence!
We also got a quote from them for rapid bonus for young drivers, gives her 12months no claims after 9 months..that came out at £354.00....So obviously thats the one we are going for!! Which will be good, as I will probably spend the next 9 months driving it,whilst she learns and takes test etc.....

The only downside of this is..its a french car!!
