How do you check if these codes will work without purchasing an item? I want to buy something but only if these codes work. Otherwise I'll be stuck... and will have to fork out the full amount or risk a negative feedback. Any suggestions?

I think in another similar post about this most people said that the codes didn't work and they were somehow linked by an email address. I think it would be best to hear from anyone who didn't get the email and successfully used the codes.

    didn't work for me
3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch + Solar Immersion installed May 2013, after two Solar Immersion lasting just over the guarantee period replaced with Solic 200... no problems since
  • did not work for me either.
  • The codes won't work because they will only work if you are one of the "selected" users of ebay/paypal. From which you will get an email from paypal telling you what the codes are anyway. I think it would only be handy if they had the promotion code that they publicly advertised.

If you buy something on Buy-it-now that requires immediate payment, the purchase won't go through until you complete the PayPal checkout. Therefore you can try the codes out without making a purchase. You can cancel out of it without making any bids or purchases.

I've tried several codes and none of them worked, I didn't receive the emails though.
