I asked this over at Hotukdeals but was told it would'nt be worth it, just need a second opinion.
I live in the U.K. and was wondering if i buy a PS3 off ebay.com (U.S. site) would i encounter any charges other than the postage to get it over here to the U.K.?
The reason i want to buy one from the U.S. site is that they go cheaper on ebay.com compared to ebay.co.uk
Has anybody ever done anything similar to this before? if so, what were your expieriences? Thanks, Jack

My brother bought Rock Band around christmas time and that cost over $200 including delivery and he was'nt charged any duty or handling. That's why i think i may be able to get a PS3 cheaper this way.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Some items will escape duty, but something as obvious as a PS3 is likely to be spotted at customs and held pending further payment.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
