hi
i've just had to have my comp re-formatted and am having to put all my programmes back on it
before i was using Zone Alarm for the firewall, and AVG for the antivirus
now i've put zone alarm back on, no prob, but whenever i try and download the free AVG it gets stuck at about 15% and won't download
I've tried other freeware antivirus, but nothing seems to want to download for me:rolleyes:
anyone out there with any advice, as i don't really like the kids on the comp without an antivirus thingy!!
thanx

It sounds as though Zone Alarm is preventing the download. Can you allow access to the AVG site in the Zone Alarm settings? (Don't know Zone Alarm.)Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)
Debt free success date: 14.8.2006 :j0 -
Try another download site for the AVG it could be the server at fault/too busy .
Firewall tends to block a download at the start rather than part way through .
Kaspersky offer a free 60 day trail of their Internet Security Suite , AV Firewall Proactive Defence Anti Spam etc . That would at least cover you security wise for 60 days .

temporarily disabled Zone Alarm, and after another couple of goes, AVG downloaded fine, and its now installed
