life assurance question from a newbie!

Hi
My hubby and I took out mortgage life insurance which we pay £27 and £23 for, can we swap to a different company if we find a cheaper price? Is this essy to do?

Also Im confused with these insurances and assurances! Doest take much! We dont at the moment have life insurence do we need this aswell?

If it is just pure life cover you are wanting to replace or does it have add ons like critical illness or income protection.

It seems very expensive for pure life cover tbh. What I would do is get either an IFA or a broker who has access to over 6 or 7 insurers and ask them to review what you have and see if they can get equivalent cover for less money or tell you if you have the right protection solution for you to start with.
