Calling cards - savings!

Most international callers and even domestic callers have discovered the savings in callings cards from newsagents etc. But many are not aware that even greater savings are to be had by buying the "cards" virtually on-line!

I have bought many different types of card, but online 2 different types of card. The first type I received two 5GBP cards for 7.50 for both cardswith 400 minutes at HIGH quality to europe. The second type was more pricey 5GBP and was around 400 minutes also.. There are individual promotions on the website, and the info is mailed directly to you.

I must say that not all cards (companies) are the same. I have good experiences with Lycatel - high quality lines and prices ok. Very bad experiences with Cheers International Ltd - even the main number on their cards is an 0871 joke saving number. The card is joke for me, the quality so bad that it's really inaudible. Medium quality but unacceptable to me compared to Lycatel was S.A. Services Ltd. who have a variety of daft looking cards (mine had bananas on it). Lots of minutes, low quality.

I've used Lycatel for domestic mobile calls - waste of time, no savings. Domestic land line - small saving, but great when you've run out of inclusive minutes on your mobile, because it doesn't appear on your domestic bill (pay as you go domestic)

Is it not cheaper/easier to use one of the carriers like 18866/1899.
