Does anyone know when backdated payments are sent out? I know I will be owed money as the advisor told me, I just wondered when these payments are normally paid.

If you are owed backdated money it will be paid out as soon as your 1st/next payment is due - sometimes if you are due backdated money due to lowering your estimated income for the year it will be kept aside and paid to you at the end of the year when you have completed your renewal ddeclaration.0

Hi
(Sorry to hi-jack your thread mookie, hope you don't mind
)
Hope you don't mind me popping in with a question; when are the new award notices due to go out? I called the TC office about a month ago to inform them of a change of circumstances (wages took quite a large drop) and they adjusted my last payment (27th March) but said I should call again when I get my new award notice through to tell them again and they would then adjust this year's award
My next payment is due on the 24th of this month and I could really do with them knowing of the change (again!) before that payment is due
Many thanks

You need to calculate your 08/09 estimated earnings if you can and call back on Tuesday or Wednesday when we are in to the new financial year.
From then they should be able to update your current year estimate and recalculate your entitlement.0 -

Thank you very much
I don't need to wait to actually receive the award notice then?You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

My income was lower than estimated at the start of my claim. One of the advisors told me how much I am due to get....which another advisor told me off for! (not my fault she told me, I didnt ask she just read my due payments off the screen)
So do you think that may that be paid soon or after my declaration? And if its after declaration when do I do this? Just trying to tie up my HB claim which has been assessed wrong and need to provide all TC details to them to avoid overpayment.0 -
You cannot complete your renewal declaration before it is issued.
They are issued over the next 10 weeks or so. If you havent received it by June you should call them up. If there is a "Potential Payment" which is to be paid it will be paid within a few days of you completing the renewal.0 -

Your most recent award notice will show the payments you will receive from April until your annual renewal declaration is done.0 -

Thanks, yes they do but they are still going to change as I will be entitled to WTC from now on too. I will call them in a few days like you advised when I asked before. I'll have to just let HB assess me on these figures and then give them the up to date details when they change again.0
