Hi,
I'm setting up a small business and have just taken on a space in a small business centre as premises. I need to sort out insurance for my stock/machinery and materials in my unit and I guess some form of public liability. I've looked on a few websites but they seem to want to split businesses into specific types - ie tradesman, home businesses and retail, but to be honest I'm not sure which if any of these categories my work falls under (I'm designing and making interior accessories). SO if anyone has any ideas/ experience and can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful!!
Thanks so much

Hi, we use AXA, I was a bit lost too when we started but if you talk to them and explain what you do they will tell you what you need.
I found them very helpful.
Hope this helps0 -
Possibly Business Link could help. It might be worth phoning a few brokers who advertise themselves as dealing with commercial insurance.0
