Unauthorised Payment on Debit Card?

Been on to Citibank online banking this morning and found that I have had a transaction go through to which I had no knowledge of.
Basically £70 has gone out to a wine club, we are not members of any such club and needless to say, we have not any wine either!!
Rang the company concerned and asked what was going on, they said a purchase had been made on card number ending in 13, however, my card ends in 17.
Loking deeper, my old card was cancelled in Feb due to a problem with swipe and sign on Citibank's Visa cards and it ended in 13 but I had destroyed the card securely and Citi had cancelled the card too.
The wine club say they will investigate and so do Citi but I am £70 lighter and no-one will give me a timescale of getting a refund.
Has anyone else dealt with similar, I know Martin has said it is hard to get money back from a debit card recurring payment scheme, but is it the same when an unauthorised and unknown payment is taken from your debit card?

I've had frauds on my Citibank Visa debit before. I called them and they've sent me a form to complete. I sent it back and about a week later been credited back the transactions I did not use.0

I agree with skyrider - deal with your bank (ask them to chargeback this transaction) not the wine company.0
