I would also recommend Calderglen. Palacerigg is five mins from me, but I don't feel it's as good as it used to be as they got rid of some animals.
There's also a Forestry Commision place up in the campsies which is quite good for picnics and fresh air. Also good for taking bikes.Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0 -

I would second Calderglen and Hunter Museum both free and Calderglen had lots to do and see for all ages - my 2 DS love it. Rouken Glen on the south Side is good too - old fastioned play park , duck pond - we usually take the kids bike/scooters and a picnic and spend the day there.No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
