Reclaiming and banking consequences

Having read the various articles on how-to reclaim I have a query regarding the possiblity of the bank in question no longer wanting your business.

We're advised to open another bank account after reclaiming, could this effect any other services you have with that bank other than the account on which your reclaiming on?

Specifically, I have a current account with Barclays I'm reclaiming on. Jumping ahead and say, I get my claim on my current account, I should then looks towards my parachute account elsewhere under the possiblity they choose to close my account. What about other services I may have with that bank? I'm opening an ISA with Barclays, could they close this as a consequence or am I protected as this is treated as a different account?

Isa's , loans, mortgages etc are all covered by completely separate agreements and won't be affected by a claim on your current a/c

If a bank does decide to close your account due to you reclaiming charges, remember and make a complaint to the FOS. I was awarded £250 by the FOS for the retaliatory closure of my account by the Nationwide.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
