I just called them and spoke to them about the offer. They only advertised it on Friday and had thousands of enquiries so withdrew it Monday morning!

I may still be ok, since i did request details Sunday night. Hope it works for me.

Thanks once more to the original poster.

Unfortunately, it looks like i have missed out!
I got a call today to say that the funds have been used up! I am beginning to think it was only available for friends and family. She wouldn't tell me exactly how many people had got the deal.

A cynical side of me reckons it was a way of promoting hrbs. I had never heard of them before!

Shame - but no major loss
  • It was totally genuine. I got in quick on day 1 (22nd August), got application pack the next day, returned forms straight away, Application process started and Mortgage offer is expected tomorrow (9th September). Looked too good to be true, but it isn't. 4.19% for 2 years with NO EARLY REDEMPTION PENALTY!!!
Never have I come across such a courteous efficient outfit as these guys - they put the big boys to shame. No automated call responses, no calls to Bombay, just honest to goodness old fashioned efficiency.

These guys will save me £150 per month for 24 months - very nice thank-you.
Need to strike quickly when these opportunities come up.
    Good luck next time
  • Does anyone know what their mortgage discharge fee is on this product?
...and then the window licker said to me...
  • I used H and R for a number of years and found them to be first rate, I live in Suffolk and had no probs getting a large mortgage. Only changed because I found a better rate with Nationwide.
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
