I'm using Nationwide Debit Card now for all foreign currency transactions as they don't charge a commission fee, so hopefully I'll avoid this in future :beer:0

Maestro cards dont get charged with Travelex either.
I've used my HSBC one there for years and never been charged. As far as I know, Nationwide is the only other cards that dont get charged.Lightbulb moment Dec 2005 - debt £23700
